THE PROJECT:
The Coyote Way: Going Back Home is a short sci-fi/fantasy film about a boy named Charlie, who must make a life changing decision to join an urban street gang or begin an epic pilgrimage that will reveal the truth of his existence. Production to begin September 2015.

♦ Knowledge of Plains Indian Sign Language, cultural ways,
and a familiarity with local urban Native culture a plus.
♦ Non-actors and young people are very welcome and encouraged to audition.

Jonny Red Star - Native male, mid 20s-early 30s, Native gang leader
Young Star - Native male, younger version of Jonny Red Star, teen/early 20s
Teenage Boy 1 - Native male, teen/early 20s
Teenage Boy 2 - Native male, teens/early 20s
Teacher - Can be a non-Native actor. Male, 40s-50s
Plains Native Woman - Traditional, historic character, 30s
Plains Native Man - Traditional, historic character, 30s
Wild West Show Manager - Male, European looking
Fifteen-twenty extras needed for most scenes in the film
