This is a workshop to showcase the techniques and traditions behind the art of Quill Work through the MARC Arts Learning Grant of 2017. Pre-Registered students will learn how to dye and prepare natural porcupine quills to create bracelets and other small projects. Students will then design and practice their own patterns over the course of eight sessions. This workshop is designed for all ages and is a great family project to learn about the traditions of Quill Working.
For this session we will be visiting the collections at the Minnesota historical Society for class at 5:30pm. Please remember to be on time as we will not have service once underground!
