Creative City Road Map traveling exhibition at Two Rivers Gallery: Nov. 2-10

Join artists Keegan Xavi and Chrys Carroll for an evening of creative engagement

The Creative City Road Map is a community plan to identify how art and creativity can strengthen the city's economic and social development, articulating where the power of art and cultural activities can connect people across differences of race, income, culture and age to foster deeper and more lasting relationships, and improve Minneapolis' quality of life.

We want to hear from you! Join us in October and early November as the Creative City Road Map exhibition travels to four locations targeted to reach underserved communities throughout Minneapolis. Each location will host the exhibition for one week. In addition, there will be public “loop back” events organized by the Artist Engagement Teams at most of these locations during the exhibition period. “Loop back” events include performances, conversation circles, and opportunities to provide feedback on the draft Road Map document. Find more about each exhibition at the Creative City Road Map website.

The Creative City Road Map planning process was initiated by the City of Minneapolis’ Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy program as a way to chart the path and set the agenda for arts and culture in our city for the next 10 years. We set forth a mission to surface the present creative identity of Minneapolis and vision a future where all Minneapolitans can access and benefit from its creative economy. Learn more about the Creative City Road Map and read the draft Road Map at www.creativeminneapolis.org
